Craniosacral Massage
Craniosacral massage, also known as craniosacral therapy, is a type of bodywork that focuses on the craniosacral system, which includes the head (cranium) and the base of the spine (sacrum). This gentle and non-invasive therapy is based on the idea that the cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord has its own rhythm, and imbalances in this rhythm can affect a person's overall health.
During a craniosacral massage, a practitioner uses light touch and palpation to detect and correct any restrictions or imbalances in the craniosacral system. The goal is to facilitate the body's natural ability to heal itself and promote relaxation.
